Well we are finally moved in - our first home together and it is ‘right up my street’. Our 1920’s house is a work in progress to make it our 1920’s home!!!! My purpose is to log my progress sharing before and after pictures, projects, great finds and more! Most of all I want to share it with others who may also be interested. I hope you enjoy this journey too and receive some inspiration and food for thought for you projects or ventures.

Woohoo!!
We made it, today is our 5th Wedding Anniversary. We bought this vase in a thrift shop for $12 earlier this month. Now I get to use it sooner than I thought I would to display these beautiful, bright roses from the bouquet my husband bought me to mark our milestone. Thank you husband and here's to the next 5 years!!
This vase is really heavy and such a great find. It is a Crystal Poland Mouthblown Hole in the Middle Vase (what a mouthful, lol!). We cannot find an original price for it but it must have cost a fair bit. If anyone know of it's value please drop me a line at johnstonaddison16@gmail.com

Now For Some Kerb Appeal
Kerb appeal is so important and this house is so lacking with the front of the house in it's current state!

Look at the difference!! It took 2 weekends (due to terrible weather - rain and snow) but we got the job almost done.
Now we just have to rake up a ton of leaves, roll on the weekend.
